How do you navigate the balance between aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability when selecting materials for restroom partitions, and do you believe it’s possible to achieve all three simultaneously? In this course, we explore the pivotal role of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) restroom partitions in contributing to LEED certification while fostering healthy environments for occupants. Participants will explore how HDPE partitions contribute to various LEED credits and gain insights into how the composition of HDPE partitions aligns with LEED requirements, promoting healthier indoor environments by minimizing exposure to harmful substances. Furthermore, the course discusses the significance of GreenGuard Gold Certification, Health Product Declarations (HPDs), and sustainable manufacturing practices. Participants will review how HDPE restroom partitions can help design professionals create healthy and sustainable spaces, save money, decrease maintenance issues, and contribute to LEED projects.
